CandL (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the CandL mobile application. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Account information — If you create an account, we store your email address and authentication details through Firebase Authentication (by Google).
- Progress data — Lesson progress, quiz results, streaks, XP, lives, and similar app state may be stored locally on your device and synced to our cloud database (Firebase Firestore) when you are signed in.
- Technical data — Our hosting providers may process standard technical logs (such as IP address and device type) needed to deliver the service securely.
How we use information
- To provide and sync your learning progress across devices
- To authenticate your account and keep it secure
- To improve the app and fix bugs
- To respond to support requests
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information
- We do not provide investment or trading advice
- We do not use your data to execute real trades on your behalf
Third-party services
CandL uses:
- Google Firebase (authentication and cloud database)
- Google Sign-In (optional sign-in method)
- Apple App Store (app distribution)
These providers process data according to their own privacy policies. We only share what is necessary to run the app.
Data retention
We keep your account and progress data while your account is active. You may request deletion by contacting us.
Children
CandL is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us to make a request.
